I have a family vacation coming up, and we are planning to rent from Ft. Lauderdale (FLL). Mother's flight gets in the day before mine. Since she falls under the "additional driver" qualification, can she just pick up the car from the Emerald/Executive Aisle, stop at the gate and depart, like I always do? We will both be driving the car.

Or will she need to rent a car like a non-EC member would? She does not have status with National.
