http://vrbo.com is also quite good worldwide, haven't checked what it has for Manly In general the better apts have a 1 month minimum rental as they don't want the wear and tear and can get enough business. In fact the best ones won't rent to individuals, only corporately (but these are the expensive and iconic SYD properties, not vacation material). Manly is an excellent choice as there is a good mix of cheap and expensive restaurants and plenty to do for a week; a bit isolated for longer.
