If you're in the US, the easy way to check is to try to log in to the FHR booking website - it will either accept your card number to get in or it won't.
If you can book, any old Amex should be OK to pay the bill.
Yes, Corporate Platinum cardholders have access to FHR, both through the website and via phone. Yes, you can switch your form of payment to another Amex.
As a former Corporate Platinum cardholder, I did this many times.
