A confluence of coincidences had me taking the train the other day. I was on a long layover, my luggage was in-lined already, I only had a small backpack, I was right at Phrom Phong and it was 5pm on a weekday. The express was waiting for me at Phaya Thai and it was the best trip ever - 40 mins. Got to admit - I'm still a cab guy though. wj
