Mr. Hoevel needs to hear from guests about this.
It's more than just more desirable. This somewhat unique and delicious cappuccino bar is known as one of the BKK LM's signature items, one per room on checkin. (Don't know if it's chainwide for LM.) Again, bad decision to change it. IMO.
The additional charge is probably for fresh squeezed orange juice, not regular orange juice, which has also orange pulp in it.
Somehow, a couple of weeks ago, the bar reappeared in my suite, instead of the cake.
This special bar was created by Mr. Illy (the Illy coffee guy) for Le Meridien.
Although I would rather have chocolate without the milk (cappuccino) part, I recognize its uniqueness.
