No bag suggestions, but I do have some organization suggestions. Instead of getting a laptop bag with lots of pockets, consider getting small pouches or quarter cubes to organize your stuff. That lets you use a larger space without the jumble of stuff.

Personally, I have retractable cables that always stay packed. In your case, I would pack the retractable cables, power pack, ear buds, adapters, and thumb drive together. I also have bag about the size of a paperback book that holds my iPod, pen, stereo adapter for older planes, chap stick, breath mints, lotion, eye drops, wet wipes, and ear plugs. I can pull this out at my seat and have everything I need for the flight, all nicely contained.

I use a Solytech universal power adapter for my laptop. It comes in its own carrying case and has a USB charging port so I don't have to carry so many adapters. It lets me grab and go with the laptop, versus having to unplug it from the power strip and wrap up the cables. Also, on those occasions when I have to travel with two computers, I can use this to charge both of them, though not at the same time. Mine has been discontinued, but there are others available.
