Have you joined LinkedIn and searched for employees of whatever company you are referring to? That could be a more straightforward way of contacting someone at the company with your questions. (I've done this type of thing myself; the guy I contacted via LinkedIn arranged to speak with me by phone, was generous with his time, spent more than an hour on the phone with me, and I got lots of good inside info on working for the company.
