I've read too many reports of incompatibilities with Pages. For example, https://discussions.apple.com/thread...art=0&tstart=0

Documents To Go and QuickOffice seem to be the main competition. There are a number of other choices, but reviews don't seem as good. However, I don't read much about ease of use, which is important here.
