Asking for a diet coke in front of Y, never got the can on the full sweep, but the FA has 90% of the time given me an unopened can on the return. On express, I've always got the can, many times they're pro-active in asking. I've had UA, UA Express, DL and DL Express deny me full cans as well, but giving me a full one after they're done with service.
