Very often, perhaps always now, those are "unpublished" (i.e.: non-public) fares and you get royally screwed out of any mileage. Cheap is cheap for a reason. But if all you need to do is ride closer to the pilots, it's a way to save the company money.
Didn't know you get screwed out of mileage.
I don't care how close I am to the pilots, but I have a medical condition that makes flying difficult in the best of circumstances. If I can stretch out and sleep in biz it will make a huge difference in how productive I am on the trip and whether the trip might make me have a crisis.
