It's my most frequent airport and T1 is every bit as bad, if not worse. They really aren't geared up to frequent passengers who have familiarity with the rules. When I'm standing in front of them jacket under arm, belt off, laptop in hand and baggie ready they simply glare and instruct me to remove a tray from the shelf below. Not being an octopus that presents a problem. So much for trying to speed up the process.

There are some lovely, friendly and helpful ones there who can spot that you are prepared but sadly they are few and far between.

The sooner the cancer booths are removed the better. It does make you wonder what provisions have been made for Employer Liability claims when staff start to develop tumors in a few years time.
