Due to a less than satisfactory experience with BA earlier in the year, BA gave me a $300 'travel credit' which according to the customer services email can be "put towards the cost of any British Airways service".

I have an upcoming codeshare on BA from DFW to LHR and was wondering that if upgrades are offered at the airport, could it be used towards the upgrade fee.

Also according to the letter, it is an electronic credit so there is no paper voucher. The CR credit number is 7 digits long.
