Agreed. Main reason to book the 777 has traditionally been to avoid the ghetto 767 @:-), but I just did LAX-HNL on a 753 last week and it was fine.

If you're a window person, the windows are a bit bigger/nicer IME on the 753 (and sCO 767s for that matter), if you're an open space person the widebody is clearly less 'confining'. Otherwise not much in it.
