Yes in my experience. Haven't done Westcoast to HNL in over a year but done it in 777s and 757s FC. About the same. 777 feels newer and I used to book to be on the 777. Though took the 757 last time both ways and actually feels a bit more private.

My opinion now is it doesn't matter. Whichever time works better or upgrade easier to get (presumably 777).
