Never been on a domestic 777 and the last time I was on a 753 was 2009. Neither have AVOD, footrests, or significant recline. I am ultimately trying to get LAX and my thought is that it's not worth routing through SFO (even though its the same price) just to be on a domestic 777. Any contrary opinions?

Also, any word of a refresh of the domestic 777s? I heard rumblings a few months back about taking the old barcalounger seats from the pre-reconfig international 777s and using them on the domestic birds. Anyone seen any evidence of this?
Not much difference at all..the 777's seats are the widest domestic first seats in the UA fleet... about an inch wider than a 757 but unless you're wide yourself you probably won't notice. The wide body cabin on the 777 is nicer. That's about it.
