Due to the new arrangement between Qantas and Emirates - our original SIN-LHR has been cancelled - we booked in J with FF points ... the offer to change is now BA - we had seats already selected on the A380 on QF>
I am happy to pay for seat selection but I don't want to confirm the change with Qantas (i.e. accept their offer of flight change) unless I am sure we are in J seated together on BA.
I have looked at Seatguru to familiarise with BA 747-400 and I see there are upper and lower decks.
I am not annoyed other than this is a very long journey - 13.5 hours and I have a back and hip problem and was booked on lie flat with A380.
I also want to know my husband is with me so he can assist.
I don't want a refund as we were lucky to get the FF seats on the QF A380 as they only release two in J on each flight.
I just wondered if there is any way to know availability prior to giving Qantas an answer. Should I ring BA and ask - they may be annoyed because they would want us to book before advising and we arent members of their program
