The time used to charge customers for product on long-haul flights is time where there will be diminished service/service response time in the Business, Economy Extra and Economy class cabins because FAs will be allocate some of their work time from assisting customers with service requests to assisting SAS management in billing customers in-flight.

It was cute indeed, but that point is nothing but smoke and mirrors from marketing team responsible for smoke and mirrors.

This isn't supposed to be better for the passengers; rather it's supposed to save/make money for the airline at the expense of passengers.

When I compare SAS to other airlines for my long-haul travels, SAS already has generally inflated economy class ticket prices for trips than other airlines. This just makes for higher prices for the consumers with diminished service/product for the same -- a combination that is not going to get me to choose SAS as a default preference choice over other airlines.

It's too bad this comes so soon after SAS started granting full miles on most fares.
