Note that Schiphol is divided into two areas - the Schengen zone (which is where I expect you will be arriving, assuming that your AF-issued ticket is an arrival from Paris) and the non-Schengen zone (for all long-hauls and some shorthaul trips, such as to the UK).

If you are going from one side to the other, I expect that it would be useful to already have your boarding pass for your KLM flight in hand.
