As one who does NOT receive the offers, I do not put a ton of dining spend on my Amex cards. Maybe $2500-3000/year. The bulk of restaurant spending goes on other cards. Maybe that's a possible strike against me??
I'm not sure what the criteria is, none of us do but the offers fling my way often.
This year alone I have $13,xxx spent at restaurants, and that is nothing to brag about either
...That is only on my AMEX cards, does not even include places I used Chase or cash.
