For $245 I'd definitely stick with the Roomette. The way I look at it is this: when you get to your destination, what are you going to rather have? The $245 extra in your pocket, or the night before in a slightly less cramped sleeping environment. I did the Starlight a few years ago and only used the room to sleep, shower and change.
One large plus to the bedroom is having a toilet in the room. If a calling comes in the middle of the night, someone in a bedroom does not have to schlep down the hall in jammies and socks to use one of the public toilets that, at that point, might not be very tidy.
