Korean F is an underdog in these FF circles of ours. In a forum dominated by talk of Dom or Krug, I figured I'd get a comment, "How come no Dom?" if I didn't clarify the price differential. Laurent-Perrier Alexandra’s 1998 Rosé's price point is in a different league versus lowly Krug or 2002 Dom at $135 a bottle.
Price doesn't unto itself of course make a champagne better. This was a very good champagne, imho.
With their selections, both the Ghost Block and offering a rosé champagne, KE is really trying to differentiate themselves from the pack when it comes to wine.
I am actually surprised, because Laurant-Perrier rose (especially the reserve one you had) is absolutely one of the best (and most under rated) champagne out there.
