However, just as its against the rules for parents to fly in F and leave the kid alone in Y (so the parents need to be responsible). The rules should also say that UA may not split up a young child from his family. I'm sorry, to many FTers take E+ for granted (rightly so I think) but if I had a small child & was on a budget, I would REFUSE to pay UA an extra dime just to sit next to my kid. That's BS & they can't expect parents to be responsible (not sitting in same cabin) if UA can't also be responsible. I get they LOVE all the extra revenue for charging for every little extra but sitting w my 7 year old (I'm talking about my GF, I don't have kids)

is a RIGHT
UA has E+ while most other Arline's have nothing like that (yet) the foreign carriers that have prem economy don't put it in half the cabin like UA. It's very sneaky the way UA uses E+ as if you want ANY good seat in Y, your forced to buy it
