The regular bedroom does not have two lower beds. It has one lower bed that can fit two people on it - very snugly. My husband and I slept together on the lower bed one night of our trip last year but after that I made him go up top because we were too cramped both down below.

The family bedroom has two lower beds, but one is child sized.

I personally love the extra space in the bedroom and find it well worth it over the roomette. I find that the roomette is uncomfortable in the daytime because there really isn't a ton of legroom.
