I mostly fly LO out of MM airlines, but it is advertised on *every* flight full of regular travellers. I have also seen posters on airports. I have seen also credit card advertising campaigns, which are also usually trivialized. Now there is a campaign in Poland with "use your card and fly for free". This is a great way to trap people who have no experience in flying. As someone wrote above, I feel *very* uncomfortably when I deal with companies, where every small print has to be checked.
I've never seen an M&M advert outside the airline magazines....
And if you don't like to check the T&C's before joining, don't join or expect to be disappointed. It's a little ridiculous to hide behind the fact you don't like to read the T&C's or that you believe everything in advertising. You must be uncomfortable a lot. M&M has build a whole website where it's quite easy to get all the info you need.
And it's not like they force you to join. If you don't like the terms just go somewhere else. But don't expect to understand any of the FFP's without reading the T&C's first. It's just a little more complicated than fly once and get a free ticket, anytime, anywhere....
