SH is right.

I have flown on LH in Y quite a bit and this really irritates me. It's been in place since AC and LH began code-sharing in the mid-90s, and has always applied to economy non-trans Atlantic travel.

Interestingly, when I was upgraded (both ways) FRA-HKG last year, they gave me C miles (with 25% COS bonus) rather than 50% of Y.

I guess if a long run like that was supposed to put him over the top to Elite then there is slim chance of a pre-Christmas mileage run?
