At Antony, the Orlyval-RER interchange is a bit of a faff, going up and downstairs. Not designed for passengers with luggage in mind. Who could blame them? How on earth could they have guessed that people traveling to/from an airport would carry luggage with them? .

So, if going to Paris by public transport with children and luggage, Orlybus might be a better bet. CDG, OTOH, is very straightforward on the RER, although not particularly picturesque or pleasant, unless you are into Seine-St-Denis chav-chic.

If traveling by taxi to/from central Paris, Orly would be better: shorter, quicker and cheaper than CDG.
