I wouldn't argue either, but not because I'm afraid I'll be kicked off the plane and told "You're not flying today," but rather because I wouldn't see a point in it.

Very funny that you were on the same flight, are on FT, and saw this thread! Reminds me of the printingandbreakfast saga!

By the way, I always found it amusing that the Saab planes Eagle used to use told us to place the exit doors on the armrests, while the Embraers now used say to throw it out. I always assumed this was due to the thrifty, practical nature of the Swedes
