I am traveling with my wife and 2 teenagers to the West Coast USA in Dec.

I booked 1 room for 4 guests at:
(a) Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf - offered a room with 2 Doubles.
(b) Sheraton Universal - offered a room with 2 Queens
(b) Vencouver Westin - offered a room with 2 Queens.

So... what's the difference between Queen vs. Double? Are they the same type of bedding in this case?

Mr Starwood Lurker - can you provide some guidance?
The queen beds are larger than the double beds. Odd that the SF hotel isn't the one with two queens.
