I'm a Gold and have the Amex, but have burned my points. The better half has sufficient hhonors points and also enough Virgin Atlantic points if transferred to make our booking.
She doesn't have the credit card and we don't want to get another right now (mortgage app coming).
Wondering if its possible to me use axon and pay with her points, or some sort of txf that doesn't prohibit the viability of this due to high cost.
Any thoughts welcome.
If she is at least a Silver VIP member then she can book the VIP going global rate (if it's 4 nights or more).
Otherwise, they only way to get her points to your account is to pay the transfer fee, which probably would not be the most economical. It's $25 per 10,000 points transferred.
