I appreciate that you were flying there for a meeting. A meeting which now didnt happen.

I was aware that flights from Europe and Switzerland are cheaper. I didnt know until just now how cheap they really are. This is one of Europes perks. However you would be using the exchange rate as well.

The argument is that you expected flexibilty. Unless you purchased flexibility or used a company travel agent that gives this then you wont have it. BA, with the numbers previously given, dont seem that they really need to worry.

So what i am also saying is just do a tr run. I know you dont need it. But you do need it for the cheap flight. Fly in sit in airport and return on same flight. I cant price the trip as I dont know all your dates. I thought JER was the same and had cheaper flights, maybe look at the instead or as well.

I know other people on here do travel to Europe from the UK to catch BA planes to the West and East. Even the most frequent flyers do this. So I was trying to say, use Avios to get there and then fly back.
