QR officially joins OW - What does this mean for BA?

It's a decent airline in my experience. It seems OW is getting a little messy and can't help but think some people might be deemed to be treading on other people's feet in light of EK with QF and even possibly AA.
It seems BA, or rather IAG, are getting what they wanted.
