Many airports in Muslim countries (and India's airports) have separate security lines for men and women. As Sixth Freedom notes, the women's line is often far shorter than the men's due to the disproportionately low number of women flying in those countries. I, for one, am all for it...it is my payback for all that time spent waiting in line for the women's bathroom at public buildings that have many more spaces for men than women!
