Fairly simple answer: you will need to get 75k MQM's in a calendar year. This can be done through flying, credit cards, other promotions (like last year's AMEX transfer bonus), etc. The status match only gives you status, and does not bump up your MQM level. Also note that only your MQMs over 50k will count for rollover.

MQM's from the Delta AMEX can help, but they are only useful if your total MQM's by year end will be over 50k. If not, they will be a complete waste as they won't be rolled over and you already have GM status.
