I got talkin' to my dentist as the Novocaine was setting in for a crown I needed. I mumbled (like Kramer from Seinfeld) something about how at least my ~$1,100 cost will be part of SPEND on this new CC I have. She asked what I meant. One thing led to another and she wanted to know something about CCs and which ones were good and points and this and that. I lit up. lol^

But in the end we agreed she should start off with the Chase Sapphire and today she sent me an email that makes me jealous:

"Congratulations! You have been approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card.

You will receive your new card and your Cardmember Agreement within 7-10 business days. When your card arrives, simply call the toll-free number provided to confirm receipt.

If your application included balance transfer requests, those requests are still under review and you will hear back from us within the next 10 business days.

Geesh! And I aint received an instant approval from no one in years! Always have to call 'em up and do the dance!
