I stayed at the Ace around a year after it's opening and realy enjoyed my stay but it was on a travelzoo deal for $129+tax/night so it was hard to go wrong at that price. I likely wouldn't return unless it was on sale again but OP could do worse than this IMHO as cookie cutter it definately isn't. ^
