I was thinking of doing it the proper way by leaving the property rather than using a different name at the same one, so it wouldn't matter who knew. Assuming that's what you mean .

Assuming the OP did want to tray a name shuffle then I don't think the property knowing in advance would greatly help the staff. They'll either notice, care and take action anyway, or not do one or more of those things.
