PQM/PQS "carried forward" (rollover) to the next year??
I am in a fortunate situation of earning 1K status in October 2012. I have more trips during 4Q 2012. I found the following statement on http://www.flyerguide.com/wiki/index.php/Elite_Levels_(UA)

"However, in recent years, United has allowed some PQMs/PQSs to be carried forward to the next year as a reward to members that achieved certain PQM/PQS milestones."

Is there any policy or experience of having my "excess" PQMs being carried over to next year to ease my burden of accumulating PQMs for status. (Note: I realize that earning 1K in October will earn me 1K status through Feb 2014.)
