Agreed. The original Gaucho was good but post expansion it went downhill.

I think there is an important distinction however. Hawksmoor source all of their beef from the Ginger Pig. I'm sure they checked with the GP as to whether they can cope with supplying all four restaurants. If that changes then I'd worry.

I got a table at the Seven Dials soft launch for dinner and the Guildhall for breakfast but emailing 11 minutes after the email went out on Monday with no reply so far, I think my luck must have run out.

My friends and I have a quarterly steak club there on a Monday night so as to take advantage of the £5 per bottle corkage offer which thankfully keeps the bill sensible.
