I think lotsa FTers make a second car reservation with another company, for example if you have a late-arriving flight at a National station that has been known to run out of cars before. Which company is the consensus backup choice?
I'm going with Hertz on that...
- They matched my National status within a day after my email request.
- USAA members are offered good deals (CDP# 77694).
- They just sent me a promotion that for some might work out even better than 1 2 Free...

...cuz that would seem to earn a free weekend day (500 pts) and for most would seem to earn a free weekday day [sic] (600 pts subject to some fine print). The offer may have been based on my having the USAA CDP already in my profile.
I'm probably gonna go with a 1-way HLE in lieu of a taxi to the airport, we'll see how it works out.
