In my opinion County Hall is the perfect hotel for the big family tourist trip to London. You are going to be spending more time out and less in the hotel worrying about the lounge offerings. The rooms are also slightly bigger than typical London rooms- good for families of 4, add in the pool and kids will be happy. I don't think it is the perfect hotel for a solo business traveller.
