I have now booked the flight. I booked an LH C class ticket from VKO to FRA and a UA C class ticket (on LH metal) from FRA to BOS. According to the US chart, I'll get 150% for the LH flight, so no problem there. But for the UA(LH) flight, the UA chart says C is 125%.

Based on other people's comments in this thread, I should probably get the 150% becuase it is opreated by LH? The only thing I'm confused about is the comment that sbm12 made about the how the marketing carrier's fare bucket maps to the operating carrier's fare bucket. Here they are both "C's" so I assume the UA "C" will map to an LH "C"?

I guess the extra 25% isn't a huge deal, I just find this stuff intriguing for some reason.
