My wife applied for an amex gold card in mid september 2012. this was received yesterday and she was told that if she spent £2000 in the first 3 months she would receive 10000 reward points.

she queried the 10000 points with amex since we both believe that when she applied the offer was for a bonus of 20000 points.

amex replied that the scheme changed on 20 september 2012 increasing the bonus to 20000 points and this was why she would only receive 10000.

can anyone remember when the bonus changed?
