As noted on AF.us:
"You can book award tickets between 10 months and 3 hours prior to departure for short and medium-haul flights, and between 10 months and 24 hours prior to departure for long-haul flights."
The calendar may show Availability beyond that range, but if you try to select such a date, you will receive an error message, such as:
"There are no Air France flights on the selected route."
Fair enough but try 7/25/2013 - it shows at least 2 seats in O (Business) in low award. However Delta can't see any of it - in fact most GDS can't even see that flight at all
