a la carte vs. Anytime Kitchen?

Etihad says (about Business and First): "Dine as you like, when you like. Choose from an extensive á la carte range or our ‘Anytime Kitchen’ menu."

What is the difference between a la carte and Anytime Kitchen, if both are available at any time? (I will be in business class.)

Is food served at any time on short haul (in my case, AUH-DEL) also?

What should I avoid? (My experience on other airlines is that the 'any time' stuff tends to be easy-to-heat canned or other cheap fast food.)

What should I do to avoid long waits?

Is it acceptable to ask for multiple appetizers only?

Are there any fruit choices, or should I special order a fruit plate?

Many thanks,
