You could be right. I should not have made such a blanket statement as I have never flown in Y or C on EK (except the 2 canib Airbus) so based my comment on what I've noticed. The F cabin does not have them as they have a different kind of vent built into the side of the suites & since there are no over head bins, there is no place to put over head vents. (same with SQ F on the 77W)
