In general, just follow the signs for Hertz Gold. At most locations these will lead you directly to the garage where you will find your name/car location on the board. Go straight to the vehicle, hop in, and drive out - showing your license at the exit.

There's a few variations, depending on the location. At smaller stations you'll need to still go to the counter to get your keys. This may be a dedicated gold station, or just the normal counter. Again following the signs to Gold (if there are any) will get you to the right place.

Your first rental will almost certainly be different. You still follow the signs to the gold location, but you'll probably find your name will not be on the board, or it will not have a car location next to it, which means you need to go the Gold service booth (normally right next to where you are) where they will want to see your license and credit card number. Once they've confirmed that they'll tell you which location your car is in and you'll follow the same process as above.
