The UA search engine also lists seats that don't exist. I tried to book an award seat on LH (FRA to YVR) and when I clicked the final "Do it" button, I got an error message asking me to try again later. I called in to the United web support, and they said the problem is that the LH flight is sold out. Were they misinformed, or is the web site broken?
