I'm sorry, but I just don't get your attitude.
Are the crew wearing badges still fulfilling their duties as cabin crew ? Yes ? I thought so. In which case the union or non-union status of crew is none of your business, its between the crew and BA, and being a member of a union is perfectly legal in the UK.
Don't try the "oh, but the unionised crew looked at me in a funny way" approach either, because that sort of thing is very subjective.
Find something better to do with your time than nitpicking on items that shouldn't be picked on in the first place. There's plenty at BA that you can justifiably moan about these days .....
