Nice trip report! Love all of the cabin pics. It's sad though that TG looks like it's fallen behind in the meal service. I travelled on TG a few years ago BKK-RGN-BKK, and they had hot meals on both sectors. I was quite impressed with TG Y service (connected to/from JFK-BKK-JFK back when they had it). Although I also agree with you, PG is a highly impressive airline too! Love their Y lounge in BKK!

FYI, here were my meals for comparison:

TG305 BKK-RGN dinner. Pork belly. Appetizer of tuna and salad, and some sort of fruit (pineapple?) cake.

TG306 RGN-BKK, Airbus A300-600. Breaded and fried fish with rice and vegetables, tomato and cucumber salad, and apple cake.
