It's a "Limited Edition" bottle of Remy Martin VSOP called "Urban Lights." I certainly didn't buy it because of that and was strictly motivated by the 15% savings and convenience of not having to carry it around T5.

I'm wondering if anyone else here has by chance bought a bottle and what their thoughts of it are. The reason I ask is that I find it to be quite rough and wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

RM VSOP is probably the spirit that I drink most of so i'm quite familiar with it and i've tasted this new bottle on a few occasions now and it's the same. wondering if i got a dud bottle or being on a plane affected it somehow, or some other factor.
Being on a plane and being subjected to endless pressure and temperature changes before someone buys it probably isn't the best way for a quality bottle of any type of alcohol to be stored to be honest.
